Contemporary Art Festival “Ars hortus” / Aprekarsky “Vegetable ogorod”/Moscow State University Botanical Garden” /13.05.2018-15.07.2018
Unusual art objects – a huge pink hare and a large bird, created by contemporary artist Olga Muravina, were installed on the territory of the Apothecary Garden of the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University, the press service of the garden said.
“On the night of July 9, as part of the I International Festival of Contemporary Art, Science and Ecology ARS HORTUS, a huge pink hare and a large bird by the famous contemporary artist Olga Muravina were brought to the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University “Apothecary Garden”. Visitors can see art objects on the Mirror Canal with the only Floating Fish Gardens in Russia.
Previously, art objects were presented at the Moscow Flower Show-2018 festival of gardens and flowers.
“A magnificent pink hare and a large bird by the well-known artist Olga Muravina settled on the Mirror Canal with Floating Fish Gardens. It is her hares that adorn the hill near the subtropics and tropics. And it is her cutest dog-fountain that excites your imagination in the hall of the greenhouse complex since May!” – Alexey Reteyum, director of Aptekarsky Ogorod, commented on the new facilities.
The international festival of contemporary art ARS HORTUS will last until August 25, 2018.
